Christina Shennan

I am member of the core training team within the Mindfulness Network and the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) at Bangor University and taught for 8 years on the Bangor University Masters Teaching 1 module. I work as a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher in Psychological Services in the NHS and also in the oncology field, in hospice and day care settings. Mindfulness informs my 1:1 therapeutic work. I teach Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction in primary care and to the general public. I have been teaching Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy for Cancer to cancer to people with cancer since 2008 and lead mindfulness-based workshops for health professionals.
