Per Norrgren

I offer supervision in English and Swedish.

I retired from the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF) in July 2024 to dedicate my efforts to my own business, Deeper Mindfulness, focusing on the teachings of mindfulness for life and the deepening of practice.

During my four-year tenure at the OMF, I served as a Teacher, Mentor, and Supervisor, primarily teaching Deeper Mindfulness and Mindfulness for Life (MBCT-L). In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I mentored participants in the teacher training programmes.

Before transitioning to mindfulness, I had an extensive career as an IT executive, managing services and delivering large projects across Europe until 2009. The high stress of this role led me to Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), where I personally experienced the transformative benefits of mindfulness in both my personal and professional life.

In 2013, I completed my Teacher Training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and MBCT at Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP). Since then, I have been committed to delivering mindfulness training in diverse settings, including public workshops, schools, local charities, corporations, and government departments.

I also served as a Visiting Tutor at Cranfield University School of Management, where I co-developed and taught the Mindfulness for Higher Performance programme to senior executives globally.

Additionally, I have actively supported my local community in Bedford, UK, by leading a free weekly mindfulness group that grew to over 300 members, fostering a strong and supportive mindfulness community.
